New York Sour

  • 2 oz Rye
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 Simple Syrup
  • Egg White
  • Red Wine (1/4 oz ish)

Start with egg white in shaker tin. Add rye, lemon juice, and simple syrup and dry shake with extra spring for at least 30 seconds. Add ice and shake again. Strain into ice-filled old fashioned glass or chilled coupe. Gently pour red wine over back of bar spoon resting against inside of glass.
